To start with, this is a mega summer camp brimming with fun stuff to do. Kids will have their day packed chock-a-block, with umpteen activities. The Andhra Balananda Sangham has, once more, thrown open its door to the children of the city.
In the morning, classes on drawing and painting will be conducted by instuctors affiliated to the institute. Children can freak out with a multitude of colours and crayons.
Post-lunch workshops on theatre, and music and dance keep the kids busy. Drama and mime reign supreme. Children are introduced to a variety of dance forms. There is also a workshop on personality development concentrating on the various aspects of child behaviour.
The fee for this month long summer camp is Rs.600. Children between the ages of 5 years and 14 years can apply.
The Andhra Balananda Sangham was founded in 1940, by the Late Nyayapathi Raghava Rao or as he is fondly called, Radio Annayya. He believed that there should be a haven for children where their talents and dreams can be encouraged and nurtured.
