Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology is organising its annual Techno-Cultural festival Adastra 2010, from 26th to 28th March, at its campus in Yamnampet, Ghatkesar.
The 3-day festival will have several technical and cultural events, and workshops and guest lectures, as given below:
Online Events
Tee-Shirt Designing - Designs should contain some text content. The maximum number of colours that can be used in a design is 6.
Photoshop Designing - Use graphic editing through Adobe Photoshop. The topic is "Save Our Tigers".
Tech Inferno
Paper Presentation - Paper presentation on any topic related to the field of Biotechnology, CSE/IT, ECE/ECM/Avionics, EEE or Mechanical Engineering.
Poster Presentation - Design a poster on any technical topic.
Mini Project - An exhibition of working models.
Robo Mania
Avontuur - Build a robot which can travel on any terrain and collect metal objects (balls, coins, keys, etc.) hidden at different locations in the arena. The objects must be collected and dropped at a specific place in the arena.
Xtreme Throttle - A robo racing competition.
Aaqua Soccer - Play the game of soccer in water with robots. The robots should be able to swim around and kick some goals.

Quiz Max - An online quiz
Project Expo - A free display of innovative projects. Models will be on display throughout the day, and possible demonstrations will be shown as well.
Corporate Cutout
B-Plan - The best business plan will be selected by a team of experts and awarded the prize.
B-Quiz - Compete with those who keep abreast of the ups and downs in the business world.
Dexters Lab - Convert junk into something creative and constructive and win attractive prizes.
Virtual Job Fair - Face the Mock Interview to know where you stand, to discover your strengths and short-comings, and to dispel all your doubts and inhibitions about placement interviews.
Young Manager - Demonstrate your managerial skills.
Literati
JAM - Just A Minute is all about talking on the weirdest topics on the planet.
Extempore - Fight it out and prove your point. Take a stance and see how well you can go through with it.
Debate - Pick a topic, argue and prove you are right.
Table Topic - Discuss various issues ranging from social awareness and economics, to philosophy topics.
Mr. & Ms. Adastra - Face the stress interview and walk your way to fame and respect. Your ability to handle the crowd is at test.
Pandemonium
Short Film Making - Sometimes, still pictures can be mute when compared to films. Short films tend to work as showcases for cinematographers and commercial directors.
C-Quiz - A quiz on C programming.
Photography - Exhibition of photographs.
Puzzles - Try your ability to solve the puzzles.
Documentary Movie - Watch a documentary and answer simple questions asked based on it.
Junta Quiz - A general quiz of current affairs
Treasure Hunt - Participants will be provided with a map of the college premises to guide them to look for clues. Every clue will lead you to the next clue, and the next, and so on, until you find the treasure.
Pit Stop
NFS - A game of online racing.
FIFA - A game of online soccer.
Counter Strike - An online game of terrorism.
Dota - A custom made real time strategy game for gaming freak. Survive your challenger's stampede or perish.
