4th Anniversary Celebrations Of GVR Cultural Foundation

The Vasanta Navratri week is a time to work towards for Andhraites, just the way the Oscar week is one to work towards for the denizens of Hollywood. Why? Take a look at the number of award ceremonies raining down on the city. No one who has achieved something is spared, there is some sammana or puraskara, which is great of-course, for the artists, and the audience who come for the cultural programs accompanying the ceremony.

The GVR cultural awards will also be given away during this time. Chatla Sreeramulu, N Sambiah, Jeedi Gunta Ramchandra Murthy, K S R Prasad and E Prabhakar Rao will be felicitated, while a Rs. 5,000 cash award will be given to Dr. G Ramachandra Reddy. MBA student B Satyasri will recieve the Y Guruprasad Smaraka Gold Medal.

Guests are A Manjula, M E Ramachandra Rao IPS, Ravikonda Bolu, T Vijay Babu, T Sivaramiah and MAA TV anchor Pragati. Surekha Murty and Vinod Babu provide the much needed entertainment in the form cine songs.
