It's 2010, and the robots are taking over already. Here's proof.
The Institute Of Aeronautical Engineering is organising its annual technical festival Tesla 2kd, on 25th & 26th March, at its college campus in Dundigal, Narsapur Road. Organised by the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, this 2-day national level festival has several competitive events that will test the theoretical and practical knowledge of students from all over the country.
Here are the various events that are set to take place at Tesla 2kd:
Beasts Of Burden - This is a robo event which tests the ability of robots in the transportation of cubes
Goals - Your robot must score the maximum number of goals in 3 minutes.
Wild Weasel - Design a multi-terrain robot that must complete the track by crossing all obstacles.
Numsic Quest - Engineer an autonomous line follower that collects metallic coins in its path.
Crystal Maze - Drive your robots with/without the ball to the centre of the track and drop the ball in the hole.
Brain Storming - This event has two streams, project expo and idea presentation. Hardware projects and working models will be demonstrated.
Short Film Making - Your short and crisp film may be in any of the following genres - comedy, romantic comedy, suspense, drama, action, or science fiction. It should not, however, contain too much violence or extreme horror.
Delineation - Each team must display posters highlighting research or activities in which they are involved.
Paper Presentation - A technical paper presentation contest which should bring to light the state of present day technologies.
