Harry Potter entertains, but these books build character. Today, get to know your own heros a little better!
The Jayanthi Kala Samithi, in association with the Vooyala Communications, is organising an unusal book-release function, today at the Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University. A total of 12 books, by 12 different authors, will be released by 12 different chief guests. There will be a book released every hour starting from 9:00 am to 9.00 pm. The schedule for the day is:
9:00 am
Shesha Prasanna, a collection of short stories by P Shehnaz of Anantapur, will be released by writer Dr. Krishna Kumari.
10:00 am
Telugu Sahitya Charitra, a book on the history of the Telugu literature, by K R K Mohan of Hyderabad, will be released by the Chairman of the A P Adhikara Basha Sangham, Dr. A B K Prasad.
11:00 am
Bhatuku Khatha, a novel by Dr. V R Rasani of Hyderabad, will be released by writer Ravuri Bharadwaja.
12:00 am
Kavi Hrudayam, a poetry collection by Koneru Adi Narayana Rao of Srikakulam, will be released by the film-writer, Adi Vishnu.
1:00 pm
Neeli Megham, a short story by Perumandla Sridevi of Warangal, will be released by the Secretary of the Literacy House, Buddiga Subbaraya.
2:00 pm
Gandharvam, a novel by Mukhevi Bharathi of Hyderabad, will be released by the Head of the Telugu Department at the B R Ambedhkar University, Dr. Ravi Kanta Vasunanda.
3:00 pm
Neenu Neenuga, a novel by Mantri Pragada Sheshabhai of Hyderabad, will be released by the Central Sahitya Academy member, Dr. Poranki Dakhshana Murthy.
4:00 pm
Prema Kavali, a novel by Pachgolla Subha of Amalapuram, will be released by the Founder President of Vishwa Sahiti, Dr. Pottakuci Samba Siva Rao.
5:00 pm
Sunya Poratam, a poetry collection by Indrajit of Guntur, will be released by Senior Journalist, Tellpalli Ravi.
6:00 pm
Sravanthi, a novel by C N Chandra Sekhar of Chittor, will be released by the novelist, Warsi Reddy Sita Devi.
7:00 pm
Kempu Gunde, a poetry collection by Shamsheer Ahmed of Ongole, will be released by poet Haddepalli Ram Mohan Rao.
8:00 pm
E Chikati Tolagali, a novel by Ranganatha, will be released by Dr. C Narayana Reddy.
The audience will also be a given a coupon at the time of entry, and with which they can participate in the lucky draw. The winner of this draw will get some of the above books as the prize.
