The Hyderabad Film Club and the Friends Of Iran Society, Hyderabad, under the auspices of the Consulate General Of Islamic Republic Of Iran, Hyderabad, are organising an Iranian Film Festival from 26th to 30th October, at the Indira Priyadarshani Auditorium, Public Gardens. 8 films will be screened during the 5-day festival.
Today, the last day, Otanazy, directed by Rahman Resaei, will be screened. Dr. Macan Barna, who is treating a patient by name Parnia Shahsawar, falls in love with her. She is from a very rich and affluent family, and due to her heart disease, has lost her hopes.
Another patient by name Faraz, a famous athlete, is suffering from cancer, and comes to know of his sure death. He too approves of Dr. Barna, and requests him that before his physical appearance starts becoming shabby and weak, the latter should help him put an end to his life, to save the life of Parnia and transplant his heart to her.
During the transplantation, due to the mistakes of Dr. Barna, Faraz dies. Dr. Barna, due to this incident, is upset, and while driving his car, meets with an accident and dies. Parnia adopts the child of the doctor and starts a new life with her fiancé Iman.
