With this year's Navratri celebrations a disappointment for dandia lovers due to the curb on late night galas, here's some great news. Treasure Island at Gandipet has two days of rocking disco dandia on 19th and 20th October, from 9:00pm till late night.
There will be shattering remixes from DJ Ryan Beck and DJ Sanj from Mumbai, and DJ Nash and DJ "R" from Hyderabad. With the music of traditional dohl and drummers, the DJs will be dishing out some hit Bollywood remixes at the console, to some 100,000W of sound.
So get your ghagra-cholis and dandia sticks ready, for this promises to be dandia nite of this year. The entry is strictly for couples only, and cover charges are applicable which are redeemable on food and drinks available at the club. Free entry is allowed for corporates and club members on production of their ID cards.
