Literacy House, Andhra Mahila Sabha, is organizing a course on Functional English from 14th July to 22nd August, at the Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College For Women. The 6-week course aims at providing training in functional English, required in day-to-day working. It is useful for potential job seekers.
The classes will be conducted from 10am to 12pm, on weekdays. The course includes various facets of communication such as spoken English, body language and grammar. The fee is Rs. 2,000. Sharmila will be the instructor for the course.
Andhra Mahila Sabha (AMS) was established in 1938 by the doyen of social reforms, Padma Vibhushan Dr Durgabai Deshmukh, with the objective of upliftment and empowerment of women. In the last 50 years, AMS has successfully established several educational institutions, healthcare centres and hospitals, and legal assistance cells for women.
