Nothing like a set of good old building blocks to open the window of your toddler's creativity and expression. These colorful blocks have captured the imagination of growing children across generations, and their appeal never seems to dim.
Treasure House, a children's library and experience centre, is organising a session for kids in the age group of 2-5 years, to let toddlers build their own worlds using a variety of blocks. Cardboard blocks, mega plastic blocks and wooden blocks are all available, and your child can choose whatever catches his fancy.
This exercise will not just give shape to kids' hidden world of imagination, but also develop their motor skills and grasping power as they hold the blocks with their hands and srart building. They also learn how to count and recognise colors, all in good fun, without you spending difficult hours teaching these things to the little ones using text-books.
Sessions are held every Tuesday, from 5pm to 6pm, at the Treasure House premises in Jubilee Hills. Entry is free for members, and non-members need to pay Rs. 200. Please contact 2355-0118 for further details.
