SKGS organises "Yuva Pratibha Sangeethotsavam", the youth festival of Music, every year in the month of September. This Sangeetotsavam is particularly aimed at encouraging young and upcoming performing artistes in the age group of 15 to 25 years. Presently, the Sangeetotsavam is being held for 3 days with two concerts on each day.
SKGS also gives the following awards under Endowments for meritorious performances during the festival
