Yoga has been known as a wonderful instrument for developing and maintaining physical and mental health. As the body and mind are intimately connected, each has a great affect on the other. In yoga practice, body and breath are used for toning the body, balancing energy as well as reducing stress. The mind is trained to be kept more calm and positive; as each thought has a rippling effect in the body, a more positive mental state is effective for bettering our physical health and well being.
In this workshop, the 5 Points for Heath and Happiness devised by the Yoga Master, Swami Vishnu-devananda Ji, will be introduced, followed by a yoga asana, pranayama, and relaxation class.
