The Centre For Analytical Finance (CAF), Indian School Of Business (ISB), is conducting a 2-day Winter Research Conference in Finance. The program committee for the conference consists of Bhagwan Chowdhry (UCLA), Sankar De (CAF, ISB), Ravi Jagannathan (Kellogg), Ravi Jain (ISB), Rangarajan Sundaram (NYU), Sanjay Kallapur (Purdue University and ISB) and Kiran Kumar (CAF, ISB).
The conference will have discussions on three research papers in the morning, and another two in late afternoon/evening on the first day. The early afternoon hours will be left for the participants to form their own informal groups and work together. The papers that have been selected for the conference include:

Anusha Chari, Paige P Ouimet and Linda L Tesar: Acquirer gains in emerging markets
