Voices of Hyderabad is a four-day workshop on documentary filmmaking being hosted by U.S. Consulate General, Hyderabad and Annapurna International School of Film and Media. This workshop will train young people from different parts of Hyderabad in documentary filmmaking skills. Participants can utilize these skills to effectively tell their stories, on pertinent contemporary issues such as gender-based violence, climate change, among others, and have their voices heard through the medium of documentary film.
Program Dates:
August 9-10, 23-24, 2014. 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (approximately 8hr/day time commitment) a few hours will also be required on August 11 or 12 for location scouting and on August 21 or 22 for an overview of equipment.
