The compositions of the guru of carnatic music, Saint Thyagaraja, come alive, this evening. Komanduri Seshadri renders the kovuri pancharatna keerthanas, one of the five jewels of the pancharatnas. The recital has been organized by Sangeeta Ksheerasagara.
These compositions were immortalised on a marble slab, in a temple, in Kovur. Thyagaraja had created these keerthanas in the name of Lord Sundaresa, deity of Kovur.
