REVIEW FOR VERBA MAXIMUS: LITERARY FEST
BITS Pilani's Hyderabad campus is hosting Verba Maximus, their first literary festival, on 28-29 January.
Verba Maximus aims to gather the oratory and literary talent of the twin cities into one forum. The festival features speaking events, including debates, and writing events like contests in micro-fiction.
The schedule for day 1 is as follows:
11am: Registration begins
12am-1pm: Inaugural Ceremony
2pm?2pm: Literary Quiz Elims
2pm-3pm: Spell Bee Elims
3pm-4pm: Group Discussion and Dead End
5pm?6pm: Literary Quiz Finals
The schedule for day 2 is as follows:
9am?10am: JAM
10pm?12pm: Spell Bee and Debate Elims
11pm?12pm: Micro Fiction and Extempore
2pm?3pm: Debate Finals and Symphonies of the soul
3pm?4pm: The Grand Face off
4pm?6pm: The Sorabh Pant Show
The cost of registration is Rs. 100.
