Kavitaprasad adds an indigenous twang to the Christmas air.

Rasamayi Cultural Organization is conducting a whole array of programs to celebrate its 35th anniversary. The party had begun on the 21st of December, with Prabanda recitals by various noted scholars. The following are scheduled for this week:

2005-12-24: Kalahasti Mahatyam - Prabanda Recital By Acharya Mudigonda Sivaprasad

2005-12-25: Vasucharitra - Prabanda Recital By Rallabandi Kavitaprasad

2005-12-26: Panduranga Mahatyam- Prabanda Recital By Dr Medasani Mohan

2005-12-27: Vijaya Vilasam - Prabanda Recital By Dr Tirumala Srinivasacharya

2005-12-28: Aaamuktamaalyada - Prabanda Recital By Kanumuluri Venkata Sivaiah

2005-12-29: Bhuvanavijayam - Presentation Of Literary Ballet

During the closing ceremoy, the organization will be presenting all the Prasangkartas with Sri Krishna Devaraya Sahiti Puruskara. Rasamayi is also inviting youngsters to participate in the recitals, to encourage young talent.

The President for the evening will be K V Ramana, IAS., Commissioner, Information and Public Relations. Shaikh Hussain, who is the Chairman of AP Forest Development Centre, will be the Chief Guest.
