Tumko Chahoon

Tumko Chahoon is profound, thought-provoking play that puts the spotlight on the complexities that life throws at an unwed mother and her child. The play, based on Oriana Fallaci's Letter To A Child, witnesses a moment that sees an unwed girl talking to her unborn child, making him aware of the hardships that lie ahead of both of them.

Tumko is an Urdu script and sees Niti Phool as the solo performer. She examines the roles that women are expected to portray, the status they enjoy in society because of these, and the choices that they have to make.
