Modern Indian woman with a golden voice meets psychedelic musicians, Tritha is an ardent supporter of women?s rights and includes her ideas in her songs with lyrics that deal with women?s liberation, social oppression and sexual exploitation. Born in Kolkata, Tritha started training in North Indian classical music at the age of five, and never stopped. She is currently a student of Santanu Bandyopadhyay from the Bishnupur gharana.
