The Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre is presenting Transition 2009 with DJ Spacecat, all the way from Israel, to rock for the new year. With thundering sound, breath-taking sets and advanced graphics, this party, they tell us, will keep you rocking till the next new year. Warming the sets with techno & minimal house are Hyderabad's DJ Freeze and DJ Anees. The main set will feature DJ Suman and DJ Spacecat spinning commercial & electro. Live acts featuring German fire jugglers will liven up the show further.
Spacecat is none other than Avi Algranati, born and raised in Israel. Avi, along with Ofer Dickovsky and Marko Goren, formed 2 successful bands in the psy-trance genre, Indoor and Phreaky, which subsequently broke up. Avi first released an album under the name DNA, and since then, has focused on his Space Cat project, releasing 4 personal albums - Beam Me Up, Shapes Of Sound, Power Up and Mechanical Dream. He has collaborated with some big names of the psy-trance scene, including Alien Project, Deedrah, Dino Psaras and Talamasca, releasing massive hits in the labels like 3D Vision, BNE and Spirit Zone Records. His new album is on the way, on H2O Records.
