About Triparna Banerjee:
Triparna grew up in a culturally vibrant space experimenting with amateur theatre and performing arts. A trained classical dancer, she completed her graduation in Kathak from Rabindra Bharti University. She moved to New Delhi for her higher studies, where she was actively involved in theatre. During her college days she came across Sesame workshops and was selected as a writer for the first season of Sesame Street (Gulli Gulli Sim Sim) in India in 2005. After completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Media and Communications she worked in Advertising Industry before shifting to Mumbai and filmmaking. Triparna was the film festival co-ordinator for Shivajee Chandrabhushan's debut feature Frozen. The film went to around 35 International film festivals, won 20 International awards and 2 National Awards. Triparna has co-written feature film One More winner of Pan Star Award at Asian Project Market. She is the co-writer of The Untold Tale the first Indian feature to be selected for L'atelier du Cinefondation in 2012. She is developing her first feature film "Riding on the Moon Boat" and is producing "The Bicycle Girl" next film of Chandrabhushan to be shot in early 2016. She is also the co-founder and curator at Artists' in Residence program - Carpe diem Residency.
