Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad will screen, "The Life of Birds - The Mastery of Flight" at its venue on February 2.
The film's presenter, David Attenborough - popular English broadcaster and Naturalist - will take you through the natural history of birds. Using state-of-the-art 3D animation and a trip aboard a glider to demonstrate the physics behind bird flight, the program analyses how different species have evolved unique skills, from high-speed hunting at 200 miles-per-hour to precision hovering, and the endurance to migrate thousands of miles. The Mastery Of Flight is the second episode of the series.
The film will be co-screened by BSAP (Birdwatchers Society of Andhra Pradesh), a non-governmental organization to conserve bird species. It conducts field trips, delivers lectures, screens movies and slide shows, and organizes nature camps, treks, waterfowl counts, bird ringing, and much more.
