Call it a cultural extravaganza, and it might just be close to what you'll behold at this dance festival, starting tonite at the Thyagaraya Gana Sabha.
Exotic dance forms like Mohini Attam, Odissi, Manipuri, Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Kathakali, Kuchipudi and folk dances of Lambada, Dimsa, Dandiya, and the works - these are taking center stage with danseuses coming from all over the state and outside.
Performing Kuchipudi tonite are Navyasri, Sneha, Sirisha and Nihar Roshni. 9 year old Srihasanti and Natya Gandharva Nritya Guru, B Gopal, and Sruthi Vinodini will render work of art in Kathak and Bharatnatyam respectively. Disciples of G. Ashok Kumar will be presenting Lambada and Dandiya forms of folk dance.
Chief guest Dr. C Narayana Reddy and Dr. CN Gopinath Reddy, Director - AP Plice Academy will preside over the program.
