The Telangana Boxing Association under the aegis Sports Authority of Telangana is organising the Mula Adaviah Goud Memorial Telangana senior men's inter-district boxing championship at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium on November 12 and 13.
Around 200 boxers from 10 districts are expected to participate in the 10 categories light-fly, fly, bantan, lights, light-welter, welter, middle, light-heavy, heavy and super-heavy. Men between the age group of 19 and 40 can participate in the event and last minute entries till 10 am of November 12 will be accepted by the organisers. The winner of each category will represent the state in the Senior Open National Boxing Championship to be held in Goa from November 24.
