The Department Of Electrical Engineering, OUCE, is celebrating its diamond jubilee this year. Techsonance is the department's national level technical symposium being, that will take place from the 27th Feb to the 1st of March, 2009. It provides a platform for students from all over the country, to exhibit their views about any innovative technologies.
Some of the events include paper presentations, poster presentations, live projects and mini projects. Cash prizes will be given away to winners in all events. The non-technical events include model presentations on environmental awareness, a documentary contest, a business plan contest, a lateral thinking event, and a quiz competition.
As part of the diamond jubilee celebrations of the department of electrical engineering, an alumni meet is being organised on the 28th of Feb, from 4pm. Alumni from the batches of 1959 onwards are being invited to the meet. Many cultural events are being arranged as part of the occasion.
