Most of us drink our tea without giving much thought. It is a nice, warm, stimulating, energizing beverage. There is a lot more to tea. Tea is a medicinal herb that transmits life and health to you as you partake in it. The ritual of tea (making, sharing and drinking) does something that little else in life does these days: it gives us a little pause, a break in the endless busy-ness of our lives. This workshop introduces participants to the basics of tea appreciation.
What we will cover:
Black, green and white tea
How to make tea
Water, temperature, steep time, leaf size and amount
Taste, Aroma, Color, Body, and other boring things.
