Life is indeed a stage for Vijay. But if you think that your wife is acting too, then things get rather melodramatic. Here's exactly how.
Established in 1974, the Ravi & Ravi Arts Association has been staging and promoting dramas to help both senior and aspiring artists. M Krishna Mohan, a TV, radio and stage artist, is the person behind all the activity. His other areas of interest is writing, and "Taalenduku Egatalika" is a recent play of his, based on the relationship between a husband and wife.
There are 4 main characters in the play, and Mohan himself plays the main character of Vijay (husband) in the play. Vijay, who was abandoned by his parents while he was a child, grows up to be a drama artist. Ragini, a drama enthusiast, befriends Vijay after being impressed by his works portraying family issues and delivering a message. They fall in love and get married.
Though Vijay is good at heart, he has a habit of suspecting everyone. His wife is his victim and she is constantly harassed. With the help of her uncle, she finally brings a change in him, and all ends well.
The play is directed by Sri Maadugula Krishnamohan, a recepient of Raktha Kanneeru Nagabhushan Award. He has already staged the play 124 times with the same characters and is determined to complete 200 stagings in the near future.
