The four-day Surabhi Drama Fest will feature the popular ?Mayabazar?, customised and redesigned to targetGen-Next and introduce them to the rich legacy of Telugu traditional drama.
In yet another attempt to raise awareness about Surabhi and introducing their distinct style of traditional drama to Gen-Next, D.V. Ramana of Sharan Media & Entertainment , Sreerama Murthy of Pravs Soya Products and Hyma Rao of Aviramhave embarked on an ambitious venture ? to promote a four-day Surabhi Drama Fest beginning December 6, with four shows exclusively for 800 children on December 8 and 10.
Also on the inaugural day, the Surabhi family patriarch and Padma Shri awardee, Nageswara Rao, also known as ?Surabhi Babji? will be given the Rotary International District 3150 ? Vocational Excellence ? Lifetime Achievement Award in the presence of Madhusudhana Chary, Speaker of the Telangana Assembly, K.V. Ramanachary Advisor to the Telangana government and Rotarian Vasudev, District Governor Rotary International Dist 3150.
Veteran artiste Tanikella Bharani, B. Sridhar, Collector, Ranga Reddy District, Hari Krishna, Director, Department of Culture and Rotarian Gopinath Reddy, the Incoming District Governor of Rotary International Dist 3150 will be the guests of honour.
