It will be an evening of musical brilliance as the spellbinding tunes of eminent music director Late C R Subbaraman resound through the auditorium. Subbaraman Vibhavari is a tribute to this composer, whose music has always been pure and unrestrained. His compositions have been part of great classics such as Devadasu, Laila Majnu, Swapna Sundari and Roopavati.
Mr. Y R Sastry (President, Friends Cultural Association) will receive the Ghantasala Subbaraman Award. The chief guest for the evening is the distinguished Krishnaveni, film producer of the yesteryears, and the special guest is music director Poornachandra Rao. Also present on the guest panel is Dr. K V Rao of the Ghantasala Gana Sabha.
In memory of Subbaraman, Y R Sastry will perform some of the songs composed by the legendary music director.
