Like every year, the government of Andhra Pradesh is organizing the state teacher awards function on September 5, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the late Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India.
These awards are being presented to meritorious teachers working in government schools, colleges, polytechnic institutes and universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh for their exemplary contribition to the education sector.
The award consists of a medal, certificate of merit, a shawl, and a cash award of Rs. 3,000, which will presented by the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The total number of awards to be presented for the year 2013 is 203, and the event us scheduled to be held at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad on Teachers Day, i. e., September 5.
