Split from Mumbai will be performing a rock concert live at Hard Rock Cafe on 30th December. This 5-member team comprises of Garreth on the vocals, Nigel on the drums, Shekhar on the basses, and Mel and Aviv on the guitars.
Split was formed in 2001 and their music is equally about conflict and resolution. At the end of 2008, the band took what turned out to be an extended break during which all 5 members pursued various other paths, musical and non-musical. The band is now back with a steady supply of new ideas.
Split has played at various festivals like Independence Rock, GIR, Eastwind and June Rock Out. Some of the other performances include The Jack Daniel Annual Rock Awards, IIT - Delhi and Bombay, Mood Indigo, Yamaha Roxx, RSJ Pubrockfest, and Channel V Launch pad.
