Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation's popular, internationally-feted heritage play returns to Hyderabad after touring 8 cities globally. Inspired by Noor Baig's short story 'Spaces', the play is set in a Hyderabadi haveli, where Aziza, an artist, was born and raised. Struggling to preserve her cherished heritage, Aziza is caught in a conflict between her values and a rapidly-changing world around her - her loving but practical widowed mother, future-forward Chicago-based fiance Javed, scheming family friend Asghar and household staff comprising loyal, old timer Ramaiah and feisty, fun-loving Shahzaadi. 'Spaces' questions whether home is just a physical structure or whether home is where the heart is, and ultimately, the role of the Divine in determining our destiny.
