SEMI India, the Indian arm of SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment Materials International) and the PV Group, an industry association serving the photovoltaic supply chain, will be organising Solarcon India 2010, at HICC. This is the second edition of the country's largest solar-focused event, backed by the solar industry.
Solarcon India 2010 will focus on the recently launched Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JN-NSM), which has set a target of 20,000 Megawatts (MW) of solar-generated power by 2022 and aims at establishing India as a global leader in solar energy.
The 3-day international conference will bring together eminent solar energy experts from industry, academia and the government, who will present new technologies, solutions and trends, and discuss the opportunities and challenges in expanding solar energy in India.
