Soak Up The Arts

Everything old comes back new. What are we rambling on about? We are talking about Raasi's efforts at reviving the arts. The foundation dedicates its energies towards re-popularising art forms that are fast disappearing. It works with artisans and provides a platform where they can showcase their works.

Raasi puts together a brilliant exhibit of Tanjore, Mysore and Kalamkari Paintings. The exhibit also has murals from Kerala. Most of these paintings are made in isolated, little pockets around South India. They are also fairly difficult to find.
