Nabanno, is presenting a photography exhibition called "Smritighorer Batiwala" on its premises from 14th April 2014 -14th May 2014 from 12 noon - 3.00 pm and 7.00 pm - 11.00 pm everyday (except Tuesdays) on the occasion of Bangla Naboborsho (Bengali New Year).

The exhibition Travelled across Kolkata, various Cities of UK and Dhaka. It has been very popular and has been hugely appreciated by the press & media in Kolkata.

"Smritighorer Batiwala" (loosely meaning 'The Light Man of the Room of Memories') revolves around the relationship a nonagenarian Sushil Kumar Chattopadhyay, (endearingly called Noku Babu) has with the objects he has been collecting for many years evoking surreal memories of a bygone era.
