The 3rd Annual All India Sports Fest "Slast 2011" is being held on 20th and 21st January at the VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bachupally, Miyapur. Keeping up with the spirit of sportsmanship, the institute organizes the sports fest to provide a platform to unleash its love for sports.

The institute houses a separate state-of-art sports complex developed to cater to the sporting interests of the students. It has a wooden floodlit basketball-cum-badminton court, billiards and snooker tables, table-tennis setup and a well-equipped gym. There are 3 basketball courts, one of which is exclusively for girls, 3 volleyball courts and a throwball court.
