Sitar Jhankaar - A Group Veena Recital By Raga Saptaswaram

The soothing symphony of the sitars will make today evening heaven on earth. Sanjeev Pawar, Narendra, Maheshwar and Shilpa on the sitars, accompanied by P Srikanth on the tabla, will render five compositions from evening ragas. They will also perform Vandemataram as well as the National Anthem.

There is also a felicitation ceremony, entitled Guru Satkar, for the renowned artist Shamsunder Bapuji. The chief guest for the recital is Mr. C C Reddy. O Srinivas Reddy is the guest of honour. Mandat Krishna Reddy (Chairman CAPCO) and Kala Venkata Deekshitulu (President, Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha) are the special guests.
