"Hastashilpi", the artisans' and weavers' welfare association, is organising a 6-day exhibition of silks from 24 to 29 January 2014 at Sri Sathya Sai Nigamagamam, Srinagar Colony. The exhibition is on from 10:30am to 8:30pm every day. Silk saree weavers, handloom clusters and silk co-operative societies will exhibit their products at over 50 stalls.
The intention of the organization is to make products accessible directly to the customers, without the middlemen. This is the association's first silk fair in Hyderabad.
Mysore silk sarees, crepe & georgette silk sarees, chiffon silk sarees, Tussar silk sarees and suits, Kanchipuram silk sarees & wedding sarees, designer fancy sarees, Dharmavaram silk sarees, raw silk & Tussar, jute silk sarees, Dhaka silk sarees, handloom silk cotton sarees, silk blend sarees & stoles, silk shawls, silk blend fabrics/furnishing, Uppada and Gadwal silk sarees are some of the products this fair will feature.
