Confluence, an event management company, is presenting its debut program, with a live musical extravaganza by playback singer Shreya Ghoshal. The concert is being held on 14th January, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Novotel Hyderabad.
Ghoshal will render some of her hits from both Hindi and Telugu films.
Shreya's career began when she won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest as an adult. Her Bollywood playback singing career began with Devdas, for which she received both the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and the Filmfare R D Burman Award for New Music Talent. Since then, she has worked in over 180 films, and received 4 National Film Awards and 7 Filmfare Awards.
Shreya's hit numbers include Bairi Piya and Dola Re (Devdas), Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai (Jism), Barso Re (Guru), Teri Ore (Singh Is Kinng), Agar Tum Mil Jao (Zeher), Piyu Bole (Parineeta), Pal Pal Har Pal (Lage Raho Munnabhai), Zoobi Doobi (3 Idiots) and Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi).
In Telugu, her well-known numbers are Kopama (Varsham), Andamlo Andhra Kosta (Lakshmi Narasimha), Pillagali Allari (Athadu), Nuvvena Naa Nuvvena and Vachhe Vachhe (Anand), Tippulu Tappulu (Godavari), Neethone (Adhurs) and Vintunnava (Ye Maaya Chesaave).
Entry passes cost Rs. 5,000 / Rs. 3,000 / Rs. 2,000 / Rs. 1,250 / Rs. 750 per head. The Rs. 5,000 pass includes a buffet dinner after the show, and free vehicle parking facility.

Happened to attend Shreya's last concert in Hyderabad. Superb performance. One disappointment though: except for a couple of short numbers, all the others were in Hindi. Considering that Shreya has song superb songs in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada, and the fact that she is performing in the capital of Andhra Pradesh, it was disappointing to say the least. Hope that this one would be different.
