V Seetha Ramaiah (a keyboard artiste) of Hyderabad is presenting a musical nite called Shaam-E-Geet, at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, on 24th December from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Some well-known professional and amateur artistes like Manoj Kumar (a Zee - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestant), Jith Mohan Mithra (member, CBFC), Rama Shivkumar (cine playback singer), and Nedunuri Shyamakrishna (a multi-faceted vocal exponent), will be singing some unforgettable and golden numbers of legends like Mohd. Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Mahendra Kapoor, Mukesh, Lata and Asha.

The orchestra support will be given by V Seetha Ramaiah and Vasudev on the keyboard, Dayakar on the Jazz & Pads, Vijayashankara Mani on the Triple Congo and Nandu on the tabla, with the compering by V Pavan Kumar. The chief guests for the evening are Jnanpith Awardee and Padmabhushan Dr C Narayana Reddy.

Manoj Kumar is an enthusiastic vocal artiste and a Zee - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestant, who also sang along with Udit Narayan in Bhojpuri and Nepali films. He accompanied Vinod Rathod and Sadhana Sargam for stage shows. His private audio album named Kaliyon Ka Chaman (Album No. UMI-10), produced by Harry Anand, brought him recognition all over the country.

Jith Mohan Mithra is an advocate, a singer, an actor, a national sportsman and a social worker, all rolled into one. He acted in more than 100 films, and sang in more than 3,000 concerts all over India. The Golden Jubilee Celebrations of 50 years of his singing, were celebrated in 2005 by Telugu cine artistes, directors, playback singers and his art-lovers. As a die-hard lover of Kishore Kumar's diction, he presents the legend's melodies at their best, even now at the age of 63.

Rama Shivkumar is an ardent music lover, gifted with impressive singing talent. She was a singing-member of the Ilayaraja orchestra while at Chennai. Being an All-India Radio auditioned artiste, she participated in many AIR and Doordarshan recordings and rendered many private songs under the direction of famous composer T R Jayadev. She sang many Telangana folk songs, recorded and released by the cassette company Magna Sounds. She also sang some songs in the Telugu film Warning.

Nedunuri Shyamakrishna, born into a musically endowed family, is a vocal artiste of multi-faceted talent. Being a Carnatic classical vocal exponent, he is able to sing any melody created by any artiste with ease. He lends his voice to Kuchipudi dance icons Padmasri Dr Shobha Naidu, Anupama Kailash, Yashoda Thakore and the like.

V Seetha Ramaiah, BA (Litt.), LLB, MBA, an Inspector of Customs & Central Excise, is a rare artist with multi-faceted talent. An AIR-auditioned artist, Seetaramaiah was initially a self-taught artist, and today plays entire classic film songs as well as classical music compositions, unaccompanied, on the keyboard. He is known for his self-discipline and involvement, which shows through in his performances on the stage. He has accompanied legendary cine singers like P Susheela, P Leela, K Rani, A P Komala, P B Srinivas and the like.
