Sawaal-Jawaab: Conversations on Science features Prof. Shankar Ghosh of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) Mumbai, in conversation with Prof. Shubha Tewari of TIFR Hyderabad, on the physics of granular materials. We will demonstrate experiments that highlight the unusual and ill-understood properties of these materials, and showcase the thought and discussion that goes into analysing them and elucidating the science behind the observed phenomena.
