This is the first of a new series of public talks / discussions / conversation sessions on issues of current interest in science. There will be a 20-minute talk by a scientist, after which the audience is invited to engage in an informal, free-flowing conversation with the speaker.
Interested participants of all ages are welcome. No prior knowledge or expertise is required.
The first of these conversations will feature Prof. Sriram Ramaswamy, Director of the TIFR Centre for Interdisciplinary Sciences, speaking on "Bacterial Swarms And Bird Flocks: The Physics Of Moving In Groups".
