US-based hard rock band Saving Abel is touring India. It is performing at the following Hard Rock Cafes - Bengaluru on 3rd March, New Delhi on 4th March, Mumbai on 5th March, and Hyderabad on the 6th March. The opening act will be performed by Mumbai's The Other People.
Saving Abel is an American rock band from Corinth, Mississippi, formed in 2004. Founded by Jared Weeks and Jason Null, the band's name was inspired from the Biblical story of Cain and Abel. The members of the band are Jared Weeks with the lead vocals, Jason Null on the lead guitar and backing vocals, Scott Bartlett on the rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Eric Taylor on the bass guitar, and Blake Dixon on the drums.
The band has two albums, Saving Abel and 18 Days Tour, both of which topped the US Mainstream Rock Chart and the Billboard 200. A new album will be released during the Spring of 2010 with new songs that include "Hell Of A Ride", "Tap Out", "Tooth And Nail","Bloody Sunday" and "Sex Is Good", all of which are now being played by the band during their tours.
