Rocket-men tell you that while love is universal, missiles are useful.
SAROD-2005 is being held in Hyderabad between the 8th and the 9th of December. SAROD, Symposium on Applied Aerodynamics and Design of Aerospace Vehicles, is aimed at bringing together people working in different aspects of applied aerodynamics and design of aerospace vehicles, from all over the world to share their insights.
The first symposium on Applied Aerodynamics and Design of Aerospace Vehicles (SAROD - 2003) was organized as a forum to share the experiences from the many aerospace vehicle design programs that are being pursued in India. To have a regular forum to learn from each other, the aerospace designers have decided to hold SAROD every two years.
The seminar will focus on developments in aerodynamic design, and on technologies behind these developments as applied to design of aerospace vehicles. The scope of the symposium will include:
Aerodynamic design
Wind tunnel testing
Rapid prototyping
Aircraft, missile and launch vehicle aerodynamics
Applied CFD
Applied flight mechanics
Technical papers will be presented at SAROD - 2005, and selected papers will be published in the symposium proceedings.
