Celebrate Sankranti just the way it ought to be. Here's Shilparamam bringing you the best of tradition this season.
On the occasion of Pongal, Shilparamam is organising a festival called "Sankranthi Sambaralu", from 14th to 16th January. The 3-day festival will have rangoli and kite flying competitions, music and dance, and age-old traditional events, as per the details given below:
14th January
4:00pm onwards - Gangireddulu by Aavula Kanakaiah
4:00pm onwards - Sankranthi Pagati Veshalu by M Subramanyeshwari
5:00pm onwards - Rangoli competitions at Konaseema
7:00pm onwards - Sankranthi Shoba Dance by M Rajani
15th January
4:00pm onwards - Gangireddulu by Aavula Kanakaiah
4:00pm onwards - Sankranthi Pagati Veshalu by M Subramanyeshwari
5:00pm onwards - Kite Flying competitions at Mountain Heights
7:00pm onwards - Bharatanatyam By Madhavi Sharma
16th January
4:00pm onwards - Gangireddulu by Aavula Kanakaiah
4:00pm onwards - Sankranthi Pagati Veshalu by M Subramanyeshwari
7:00pm onwards - Janapadha (folk) dance by Vidhyananda Chary
