Samahaara Acting Workshop: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR SAMAHAARA ACTING WORKSHOP

The Samahaara Theatre Group, in association with The Actor's Studio Hyderabad, is organising a 2-month production-oriented acting workshop at The Actor's Studio Hyderabad, Madhapur, from 15 Feb to 15 April. The workshop starts at 7pm every day.

Rathna Shekar Reddy will direct the workshop, which will also have sessions by members of the faculty, Nagaraju Pejjai & Venkata Naresh Burla.

This 60-day workshop is designed to introduce participants to the art of acting on stage, focusing on learning the basics of stage acting, character analysis, stage and rehearsal terms, movement, stage geography, stage behavior and improvisation.

Participants will learn realistic and stylized acting for a variety of roles in theatre, by going through a series of vocal, facial and physical exercises.

Workshops by Samahaara are intended to be fun, and are handled by trained theatre professionals. All the participants will act in a play at the end of the workshop.
