Hyderabad artist Narsimhulu Kandi is organising an exhibition of his paintings "Rustic Expressions" from 12th to 26th March at the Alankritha Art Gallery. This collection of paintings is based on village lifestyle and surroundings.
Narsimhulu shows his affinity and affection for his home land in his works. The works celebrate the many moments and episodes from his village. He recreates them on his canvas keeping the unpretentious and natural attractiveness of the village folk intact. The works exemplify group of women, and at times, men, engrossed in their mundane acts of work and recreation.
Narasimhulu has done his graduation in painting in the year 1998 from the JNTU College of Fine Arts & Architecture, Hyderabad. This year, he was awarded a gold medal by the Hyderabad Art Society. His works were exhibited at the Chitramayee Art Gallery, Telugu University, Salarjung Museum and Marriott Hotel, Hyderabad.
