Ruhaniyat, the All India Sufi And Mystic Music Festival organised by Banyan Tree Events, is back for the 5th year, to mesmerise music-lovers of the city. The event is set to take place on 2nd January at the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. This Sufi festival is one of the biggest of its kind, and will be held in 6 cities till March 2010.
Musicians from various parts of India, comprising of sufi qawwals, mystic musicians, Kabir panthis and Bauls, will enthrall audiences with their performances, which include:
Sufiana Kalam & Mystic Songs by Abdul Rashid Hafiz & Group from Kashmir
Baul songs by Parvathy Baul from West Bengal
Sufi Kalams by Multan Khan, Jamil Khan & Group from Rajasthan
Mystic Shabad by Bibi Ashupreet Kaur & Group from Punjab
Sufi Qawwali by Sarfaraz Chisti & Group from Muradabad
