Rock Walk To Rocks Near Ramoji Film City: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR ROCK WALK TO ROCKS...

A walk in the park with your honey is always delightful, but what say you to a Rockwalk? The Society To Save Rocks arranges nature treks to different rocky landscapes, in and around Hyderabad. Roaming the rocks seems the proper way of getting back into Nature's good books.

The swift raising of mall after mall, mansion after mansion, calls for a committed effort towards preserving our portion of the Deccan Plateau. This february, Society To Save Rocks in collaboration with other enviromental organisations had come up with an innovative Enviro Mela. This packed day included everything from a birdwatching sojourn and a snake show to environmental quizzes and a photo exhibition.

The meeting point for the rockwalk is outside the main gate at the Public Gardens. All aspiring rockwalkers are to gather here at 2.30pm. The trek ends at the rocks near Ramoji Film City. Sensible shoes, a cap, long pants and a water bottle are a must. Enrollments must be made a minimum of 2 days in advance, at 2355-2923.
