A walk in the park, with your honey, is always delightful, but what say you to a Rockwalk? The Society To Save Rocks arranges nature treks to different rocky landscapes, in and around Hyderabad. Roaming the rocks seems the proper way of getting back into Nature's good books.
The swift raising of mall after mall, mansion after mansion, calls for a committed effort towards preserving our portion of the Deccan Plateau. This february, Society To Save Rocks in collaboration with other enviromental organisations had come up with an innovative Enviro Mela. This packed day included everything from a birdwatching sojourn and a snake show to environmental quizzes and a photo exhibition.
The meeting point for the Rockwalk is at NMDC (National Mineral Development Corporation), Masab Tank. All aspiring rockwalkers are to gather here at 4pm. The trek ends at the rocks near Gachibowli. Sensible shoes, a cap, long pants and a water bottle are a must. Enrollments must be made a minimum of 2 days in advance, at 2355-2923.
