The Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation is presenting 'Resham Ki Dor', a musical directed by Mohammed Ali Baig, on the 12th and the 13th of June, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. The performance starts at 7:45pm on both days.
Resham Ki Dor is produced by Begum Razia Baig and is based on the legend of the Mughal emperor Humayun and the Rajput queen Karmavati. It features Mohammed Ali Baig, Lakshmi Manchu and Arif Zakaria, among others, along with Kaalbeli dancers from Jodhpur and singers from Jaisalmer. The costumes have been designed by Vinita Pittie, and the lights by Ram Gopal Bajaj.
Entry cards of Rs. 1,000, Rs. 500 and Rs. 100 are available at A A Hussain's (Abids), Ofen (Road no. 10, Banjara Hills), Music World (Banjara Hills), Walden (Begumpet) and Sangeet Sagar (Paradise Circle). Online booking can be done at www.indianstage.in.
